Today has been such a boring day, SO FAR, but soon I'm gonna meet up with some good friends, so it's gonna be all better soon, chill out for a little bit. The day has gone by too fast and I haven't done anything fun at all, well...I did clean the apartment. Good Jennifer :) it wasn't fun but necessary, and I do feel very very good about that and I went grocery shopping with Jazones and sneaked some liver paté down our shopping bag, yum!

Saw this last night as I was going to bed, I've always wanted to see it and have had it at home for ages but never taken the time to actually SEE IT! SO, finally I did...and I liked it, it was alright! Jill plays her character well, and I suppose this was a great challenge for her since she's never acted before (?) it's impressive. She got the accent down and everything, and she's "fat and fabulous"! (like one man says in the movie.) with great style! Love all her colorful dresses she wears through the whole movie. She really portraits a confident woman, although her size, following her dreams.

If you feel like seeing a warm and easy going movie with a fabulous plus size girl in it, watch this one.

Productive Saturday

My weekend off my regular job flippin' burgers, I'm working extra settin' labels. Got to bed real late this morning after working night shift but forced myself up from bed after only 6 hrs of sleep, I need at least 2 more. But, I need to get some job done and to bring in some extra cash. So, sitting here, wearing my new Sonia Rykiel bra I just today got in the mail (Just as I entered labels I ran to the bathroom and tried it on.) so excited, got a bunch of new underwear and a really cute waist skirt in a warm green color. The bra fits like a glove by the way, so happy! The design in super cute and gives my boobies good support.

Friday cozyness

Mmm....yum, yum, yum!

Jazones is a great cook, he makes the most delicious chicken.
(with lots of lemon-pepper on it.)
Came home after work and he'd made dinner, aw. A healthy meal, very filling, I brought dessert, (since we were having chicken with veggies.) the finest Italian ice cream by "Serafino"
bought it at Willy's, never seen this ice cream label before but GOD ALMIGHTY! this is the most delicious ice cream ever! There's lots of different flavors to choose between, I bought the "Menta orientale" chocolate and mint with kakao sauce. I strongly recommend everyone to try it, buy it AND EAT IT, and enjoy.
1 KG of delicious Italian ice cream for 29 SEK.

Oh my god, I went to the center of the city with Jazones today, I just didn't want to sit at home all by myself, but at the same time I really didn't want to drag myself down to the center, I was feeling very lazy. But, I did anyway, cause...why not?! I went to Cubus...1/2 off on the 1/2 price. GAH! I've said to myself, no more shopping for this month, but I found this jacket and it was too good to be true, I asked the staff about two times if it really was 1/2 off on the 1/2 off price, (cause NONE of the SALES clothes had any type of tag to show it was 1/2 off.) and YES! it was. *dances* it's so beautiful, I've always wanted a Jacket like this, but never found one that fit, this one fit perfectly, first Jacket I grabbed, MY SIZE, it was MEANT TO BE!!! *dances* It's fierce!!!
Original price 999 SEK, I payed 250 SEK.

Vintage feeling

Bought these really cute shoes at "Röda Korset" a secondhand store for only 30 SEK, I wanted to find a pair of heels that I can wear any day that are not too high cause my feet can not survive long in high heels. On the sole it says "Leather upper and man made sole, made in Italy." Wee! what a fabulous find!! Also bought this bag at our Swedish version of E bay, got it for a 100 SEK, it's alright, a little plastic looking maybe but it's still pretty I think *rolleyes*
I love shopping secondhand stuff,
it's charming, the items has a story (hopefully a good one.) You can really find unique things for a good price.

Slacker jacket

Slacker outfit, now when I look at this jacket, don't ask...it was 150 SEK and it felt right at the time and now it's turned into my everyday slacker jacket, it's not that flattering, It's not very warm, I can not close it cause then the buttons pop open, nor is the color the most beautiful...but I'm still liking it. 8-)
Today has been a great day
even though the weather has sucked...big time...me and two good friends went to "Röda Korset" and did some good bargains, I bought a pair of brown leather pumps for as little as 30 SEK. *Ka-tjing* and after that we went to "Rusta" and continued to do some great bargains. Lovely isn't it.

Cosmo features too expensive clothes. Been reading it today and almost all the clothes cost more then a thousand kronor. Not very affordable for me, well...at most I can get inspired. But shit...I want to see things I like AND that I can actually BUY, you know what I'm sayin'. Oh well...they have many good articles that's a plus, now I know 10 tips how to satisfy my man in bed. *just kidding*

Snowchaos

heavy snowing and hard winds. Sucks, I thought we'd passed the hard winter and that we're heading for spring. Well, it is only January, so I guess...we're gonna have to stick with the snow for at least a month or two more...
Laundry's almost done, I know it's silly, but I'm real proud of myself for managing to operate a washing machine I'm not familiar with, it was easy, I always put too much pressure on myself and worry that I won't manage. Silly me.

What I dislike the most about heavy snow is driving, the car is cold, covered with snow, soon I'm gonna have to get in that car and go to the city. Nooo! wish I had an automatic car heater thingy that heats up my car before I get out to it, just like Elin's. I'm so jealous. :P

The Mask - it smells like poop...

Today hasn't really gone as I planned, thought I was gonna do some extra work, but no, the guy had left the building making it impossible for me to do that extra work that this guy has been "bugging" me about, Oh well, it's fine I guess, I just get a little stressed out cause I just want to have this work out of the way, done! You know what I'm sayin'? I've got other plans, tomorrow's gonna be a busy day of laundry, meeting friends, AND working.

Me and Jazones took a ride in my car instead, discussing how wonderful it is now to live IN THE CITY! Being so close to everything, and about how much gas I'm saving now!!! (High five!) We had McDonald's, chillaxed, (I took tons of pics. that I will show later/tomorrow) I bought some magazines on my way home, so before bed I'm gonna look through the new issue of Cosmo, Ah yeah!

My skin gets so dry after I shower and especially after working a lot, so today i tried out my new face mask, first to try ever, Blue Corn 3-IN-1 DEEP CLEANSING MASK from The Body Shop. It smells like poop but
my skin felt like a baby's butt afterwards.

Evans has released photos from their new campaign, spring/summer '10 collection. Wow, I am SO MAD that we don't have Evans here in Sweden. The Denim Jacket with studs on Crystal Renn is one of my big favorites, me want it so badly. And I'm just loving the simple yet trendy style, skinny jeans with leather (maybe not real but...) jackets. (or is it? sure looks like it...love it anyway.)
I get so excited when I see photos featuring gorgeous "plus size" models, and Crystal Renn's in it, my favorite model, sure does look like she's lost a bit of her curves :( however she still looks gorgeous.
I want to see more of Evan's spring/summer collection!

Got my hands on my own Sonia Rykiel "underwear"/intimates/lingerie (or whatever you want to call it.) from H&M, they were just put on sale, lucky me to get my hands on some, cause they are selling like hotcakes. Also bought 2 pair of black stockings for the spring, from what I have read black stockings are back in trend, and a few other panties, a bit tacky looking but cheap and I need some tacky looking panties ;), I have to many plain old boring/but comfortable hipster panties.

Sundays chillin'

After a hard working day.
I cooked a really nice meal, had a glass of white wine and chocolate pudding as dessert.
Jay's all happy and excited, he's favorite team is playing today so I have to hurry to blog before he takes over the comp. *sigh* football...American football...he loves that sport. Like I've said earlier, I seriously think he's in love with New Orleans saints quarterback Drew Brees. He's like, "Jen, Jen! Look at him, wouldn't you want to marry this guy if he asked?" and I'm like...."Eeeeeh...no? I got you silly"...him, "I would! DREEW BREEES!! He's awesome!"
Anyway, work today was exhausting, never got time to relax, and ended up working over time, but...at the same time you push yourself to work as good as you can cause you feel better about the situation then, and you feel like you're fast as hell, and you start getting warm and a bit sweaty and greasy...that's when you know, you're working out.
I had my today's workout at work today. I never stood still...I was moving around like dancing queen, most certainly burning some cals'. (as in calories)

Tomorrow I work again, and with the best co-workers ever! ;)

Cute summer dress

I have a thing for colorful flower patterns.
These dresses are so amazingly cute, I wish they could be a part of my wardrobe! All three from H&M. (whop! Whop! for H&M) and not hard to get your hands on...The one to the right is more simple and not too extreme like the other ones, maybe I should go for that one, only 199 SEK. But I do love extreme, colors that will hypnotize you if you look too long at them. And these kind of dresses look really flattering for a curvy body, I wish them all! I want to walk in in the sun, feel the heat on my skin in a cute flowery dress.

Cozy Cardigan

Just got home from the movies. Daybreakers...vampire movie with Ethan Hawke. It was alright, one of the better vampire movies I've seen, more realistic...and I was always interested in what was gonna happen next, Humans vs. Vampires...sort of, the act of basic instinct. Interesting, recommended.

Had a really good time last night, we had some drinks, hung out and played games.
and I also got to know that the supervisors for our apartment building lives just next door to us. Oh my god! But, the "party" ended early, before 11pm so they shouldn't have anything to complain about....I hope. Just got a little nervous, didn't know they lived next door to us, the walls are very thin, I can hear their dog barking often and very loud. Anyway, they seem cool :)

Now, just got off work and I'm gonna hit the city and go to the movies with Jay and Negin, gonna watch "Day breakers" the only movie that both Jay, Me and Negin can watch, wanted to see "It's complicated", but...it's too girly-girly for my man, you know.
