Lace-up!

These kind of shoe might have never before been a favorite, but right now I'm really liking these, (Got a bit inspired by Mischa Barton today when browsing around her pictures) yet again, another reason to why I wish we had Forever21 here in Sweden, however...still, kind of liking it that we don't cause everyone would go crazy if they would have opened one here and EVERYONE would walk around in Forever12 clothes and it would so RUIN the kind of status that it has. "OH, it's from Forever21?! Have you been to US?" "Oh yeah baby."
Anyway, I can image these shoes look real cool on, maybe not your cup of tea but I feel these are kick ass and kind of unique, at least I don't see many Swedes strutting around in these kind of shoes. SO, I'd love to work these kind of shoes this Spring/Summer.

Personal style inspiration

I've said it before, I like Mischa Barton's style!
It's girly, cute and vintage inspired...she looks to be very comfortable in what she's wearing too, looks like she just throws on whatever clothes are closest to her and voilá! She just looks pretty without any effort. I'd love it if I could dress like that everyday, with not much thought, only putting on whatever nice items you have in your wardrobe, and out you go! :) looking fabulous in your own way.

Working it!

Today I decided to wear something OLD and dear to me, I favorite dress that I bought for about 2 and a half years ago. This dress...from MONKI, still today one of my fav. stores.

Talked about clothes with Tess on the phone last night, about how much you shop and just add on to your wardrobe and that we should go to a flee market later towards the summer to sell some of our crap (another ones trash another ones treasure.) I have so many shoes, bags and clothes that I need to get rid of, and it suck to have to throw them away, cause you have some sort of relationship with them, of course you could give them to charity, which I will do, but first...I'll try to sell for dirt cheap and maybe earn a couple of bucks on it.

However, today...I dug deep into my wardrobe and pulled out this dress, what do you think?
Pretty happy that I can still work the dress today, the picture to the right is from Dec. 2007, party girl nr.1. so passed that stage, hehe, well...cool that the dress still fits, feels like I've gained but I guess not. score.

Unfortunately their music suddenly just stopped in the middle of their performance, but they just kept on going like professionals, jk. :P No but, good work, Congrats to the gold medal and for making it to the Swedish championship in Cheerleading. Can't wait to see you cheer again!

Love this app. on my iPhone, Hipstamatic. bought the demo for 15 SEK, so I highly recommend anyone that likes to take photos to download this app. it's so much fun and the photos turn out great!
Jay just left for the gym so...I'm gonna crack open a bag of popcorn and watch Criminal minds and slurp on a nice cold diet coke. Take care muffins.

Vintage stories

KappAhl will release their new campaign the 9th of April, called Vintage Stories, when I heard about it, I just had to check it out...cause...I love Vintage.
However, the collection isn't that GREAT, there are many pieces that doesn't appeal to me. but they have a few pretty dresses like the ones above. But...KappAhl like, kind of reaches out to an older crowd, however, some items are young and fresh looking. They are like mixed, it's confusing, I've bought clothes there and I question myself...does this make me an old lady? :P No...but...you know...you just start to wonder how it was possible you just found something killer nice there. I think they are trying to change and become a clothing store for everyone, in any age and any shape, that I like! They have a plus size line called XLNT, pretty good, pretty good, I wear their bras...they are TOP NOTCH.

Laundry day

Today has been a total laundry day.

Not so much more fun to say, been home doing laundry since 7am, been out a little, bought an iron, and some good foods, me and Jay are going on a diet, wish me luck...I'm not that sure about it, I LOVE FOODS! :D snacks, and delicious treats. I've been trying to upload images to go with this post, but it seems that all images on Blogger doesn't work, neither on anyone's blog, peoples pictures just wont show...is anyone having the same problem?

Anyway, not so fun to blog without pictures. :( Sorry.

I like these kind of pants, before...I might have not dared to use them, but...today is another day. I really like them, can't decide on black or grey though, I was gonna get that white flower pattern skirt by the way, but lucky me...it was sold out when I got to it. Only the black one left so...I'll skip it.

She smokes on quite a few photos, in the past and now, what are your thoughts about that? Is it supposed to be "trendy"? "Artsy"? OR..does she really smoke? kind of sending out the wrong message to others? hm, I don't really get it, however, she looks beautiful but still...that damn cigarette. *rolleyes*

Also, her thoughts on Kate Moss' statement about being skinny.
Vice : You were very complimentary to Kate Moss in your book, but what did you think of her recent comment that “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”?
Crystal Renn: [laughs] It’s really funny that you mention that. I was just talking about it yesterday. I actually love her as a model. However, that comment really disturbed me. I don’t know if she thought about what she was saying and the effect that it would have on all the people who look up to her. I mean, how many people look up to Kate Moss? She is an icon, and for an icon to say such a thing can be quite devastating to the younger fans.

Getting somewhere...

After the cheerleading comp. me and Maria (BFF) went to Kista Gallerian, first time there. Must say I really like the place and can actually imagine myself going there JUST to shop, cause you got everything you can imagine and NEED under one roof, very much reminded me of the malls in the U.S. they even had a..........Food court.
Anyway, found a little cozy jewellery store, and bought two rings, like I've said before...I'm hunting BIG, BEAUTIFUL and BOLD rings. Well, they were a bit pricey so I bought the one on my middle finger and the classic silver looking one on my thumb. (and the other rings are my dear old ones, rings with big stones are my favorites.)
Do I have a nice ring collection so far? :)

DM Cheerleading '10

Today has been spent in Kista/Stockholm watching cheerleading.
It's the pretty big competition where teams from this district gets picked out to be sent to the big nation wide Swedish Cheerleading competition. My lil' sis' team did pretty well, they were all great to be honest, some mistakes, but I can not image the pressure and balance you need to have when being lift up by your team mates. My natural reactions to everything impressive and awesome was "OH MY GOD!?" so I was like...omg,omg,omg,omg, omg...pretty much all the time. They were impressive! Cheerleading is so awesome to watch! Took lots of awesome pictures where they throw eachother high up in the air, etc.etc. super cool! *proud over my low photograph skills*
So proud of my little sister, she's so good!! Jessica you're gonna cheer for some football teams in the US and marry a rich player OK!? :P

Favorite top, yet another day...

Today I wore my favorite top with a pair of denim jeans from Monki. The most comfortable jeans I own, I was lucky to find them. I always have a really HARD time finding pants that fit well.
Also wore my new vintage earrings, love the blue color, isn't it nice? maybe it's a bit hard to see on the pic. but...they are BIG and have a deep blue color. My bag is also vintage, bought it on eBay, another everyday favorite, just like my striped top.

Again, me and Jay went to Media Markt, and...
we bought a PS3. *sigh*
somewhat expensive, but...at the time the cheapest and best offer you could find and Jay has really been wanting one for a while now and...deep down inside I'm a gamer, I've played a lot of video/PC games through my younger years. We split it, and we got some really COOL games as well. *excited* and...now I don't have to buy a new DVD player, and can finally watch Criminal Minds s.2. And not to forget, enjoy watching BLUE RAY vids.

Been dying to get the right one, the colorful pattern dress, so happy when I saw they still had it in the store we visited today (I had given up all hopes on ever seeing it in stores since it's so popular and has sold out online time after time.) and in my size!! weee!! So happy, also took the chance to buy the cute blue dress, that dress as well is sold out on the HM online store. So...SCORE for me! yay!

favorite top

Today I'm wearing my favorite top with a black skirt and baby pink belt, bought on sale not long ago. Today has been a really really really good day! Got my hands on a dress I've been dying to get, and I was lucky to find it today at H&M, MY SIZE LEFT! happy to be a full figured girl, cause they only had sizes 12 and up left,
I grabbed that size 12 like my life depended on it!!

Also bought two pair of vintage earrings at a secondhand store we visited for the first time today, both for only 17 SEK, yay. Also had the grand opening of Media Markt here in Uppsala, of course my and Jay had to go by and check it out, traffic was CRAZY around the area, never seen anything like it in a long time, reminded me of when I was in Jersey and they had just opened Sonic by the highway, traffic was ridiculous then! Of course me and Jay risked our lifes :P and ran over the highway and I got my first taste of a corndog. Anyway, I bought a new camera...(*^_^*) cheap but OK. I really need a new one, my old one has done it's time...

Been really inspired to buy pattern and colorful leggings, too spice things up!
So I'm really like...having a hard time deciding, which ones to get, I'm thinking of trying ALL of them (but it does feel a little bit over kill to get 6 pairs of leggings all at the same time.), and do I not like them I'll send them back. The top middle, flowery leggings and top right black shiny leggings are both on SALE for less then a 100 SEK, those are like "GET IT RIGHT AWAY"-leggings, I've been checking those out before. The ones at the bottom right I've already ordered from H&M *rolleyes* cute aren't they? I just can't wait for spring to come, image those leggings, with a white loose-fit comfy top, black biker jacket and black studded flats, and a nice bag to go with it, and a messy braid going down your shoulder side.
I don't know. hehe...Just fantasizing a little...
