Hallelujah moment

 

 Can't wait to go to the US. I haven't even packet yet, I'm starting to feel a little bit stressed, I leave in 3 days, and I work all those days, today I'm too tired, when I would have worked about 8 hours I stayed for another 2 and a half hour at work filling in, and damn...when I got home. OUT like a light! I didn't even have the energy to change clothes before I crashed the bed, lol, but now I'm up again, I needed that power nap. I was drooling all over the place. Ah, so nice :P jk.

I'm so excited that I'm leaving soon, can't wait to be with my boyfriend again, these 4 months have been quick but if feels weird to be away for that long, we keep in touch but there's not much to say, it's like...ehm, what did you do today....I worked, what about you...I went to school.....Ah....ok......boring. 

But now we can plan how we're gonna spent our time together when i get there, oh and i can not wait to have a Jr. Bacon burger at Wendy's, LOVE the value menu. And to shop at Forever21, Can I get a hallelujah moment!? Oh yes, hallelujah! oh and not to forget Bath and Body works.....do I need to say more?

Hope you've all had a wonderful and joyful Christmas, I wish you all the happiness in the world.

Just a quick post to today since I woke up late, I was sleeping like a baby, not even my alarm woke me up, and it has a loud ear pinching peep sound, how crazy isn't that?! :P I have to drive off and pick up my sister and brother to go see my dad, quick. in 10 min and I'm not even dressed.

Anyways, I just wanted to show what I wore yesterday, I love this dress from HM, it was on sale and there's one in a leo print as well, but I picked the black one, a perfect "little black dress" it's a bit tight over the boob area, but other then that it fits like a glove!! :) it got frills around the cleavage and you can tie a ribbon around your waist and then the skirt is all big and poofy. LOVE! Shoes are from Forever21.

It's the most wonderful time of the year

 Hope you all have a wonderful day, In Sweden we celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve in case you're wondering :) I'm so excited, and STARVING right now, can't wait to EAT and to open presents (*^_^*) It's the most wonderful time of the year.

The day before Christmas, omg, I can not wait. To spend some quality time with the family, even though we're pretty much spread out this year, I miss when the whole family used to be together on Christmas, I guess that is the only think to be honest that I feel SUCKS with my parents divorce, we're not spending Christmas together as a whole family. ANYWAYS, it's OK. My mom is gonna cook a lot a lot of food, can't wait to dig in to the buffet. Open Christmas presents, to see the look of excitement and joy on someones face as they open your gift to them. All the lights, out Christmas tree this year is gorgeous, decorated by me and my sister. We're very proud.

Got another delivery by H&M today, did some great finds on the SALE, like this knitted top above, it's the same as the one I had on before, the light pink/nude. I liked that one so much I had to get this one too. Only 99 SEK.

 Have you ever had anyone make negative comments about your size or fashion sense? If so, how have you felt about it and handled that situation?
I've been lucky not to have anyone post negative comments on my blog, I'm very happy about that, cause I often take comments to heart even thought I know the negative ones are many times out to hurt you, I get a little bit affected by it. I have had someone comment on my choice of language/words, basically made a comment that made me look stupid, when what I was trying to say was not to offend anyone, Readers got to remember that English isn't my first language, Swedish is. :) What I did then was to take off the word choice on the post and delete that persons comment cause I felt it wasn't fair for that person to put words in my mouth.

I'm Alive

Just wanted to make a quick post before I leave for work, been working for a couple of days now and everyday I tell myself to do an OOTD, but I never get up in time, I'm being so lazy, but at the same time I need my sleep, working night shift. What a dilemma. :P However I'm off work tomorrow so....We'll see. Hope you all are well today, not many days left til Christmas now, I'm so excited!! I got my HTC Wildfire phone yesterday, I LOVE IT!! It is the greatest phone on this planted, I strongly recommend, if you're looking to buy a new phone, check this one out my friend! And, I got this adorable baby seal from my friend, a early Christmas gift, love it. Baby harp seals are the cutest!!

Have you ever been to Brussels? If that's the case, what did u like the most about it?  

Yes I've been to Brussels once, I remember I liked everything a lot, I'd just left Amsterdam, so Brussels to me was a nice change, clean, very romantic looking city, nice cafés, nice architecture, DELICIOUS WAFFLES! ;)

 What dress size are you? You have a lovely figure! X  

Thank you so much! <3 my sizes varies from brand and fabric. But I'm usually a size L-XL, EU 42/44 in tops, and bigger below when it comes to pants and jeans, around size EU 46/48.

 Where do you want to live in future?

That's a tough question, cause I'm not sure myself. I thought I was but what really matters in the future is that I have a good job, steady economy, my own house/apartment, a family and the love of my life. Wherever that will be doesn't matter :)

How would you describe your signature look?

Dress/Over-size top paired together with cute stockings or leggings, really...Comfortable & Chic! :)

  

Where in Sweden do you live and where do you shop plus size clothes other than Lindex´s, according to me supersmall section ?

I live in Uppsala, close to Stockholm. Even so I almost never shop "plus size", there' isn't many plus size retailers here in Sweden, besides like you say small sections at different clothing stores such as H&M, Lindex, Ellos etc. I hardly ever find something that I like, so I always shop at the straight size section, luckely many time they have my size, but it's not always they fit well. I mostly shop plus size when I'm in the US.

 What do you like about the "American" way of life?

From own experience, I love how people are so out going, the hosipitality, how there's always something that you can do if you're bored...it's never too late to go out and get something to eat for example, I love the food!

 I know this may be a little too personnal (and you don't have to answer) but how do you deal with your close love ones not liking your relationship with your boyfriend? You mentioned it a few posts ago. I have a mother that does not like my husband:/

I don't know how they feel today, but what you gotta do is just to remind them to respect your decision. Especially if you're family, you gotta try to set dislike aside and invite the other person it to get to know eachother better, that's often the case, our parents judge too fast and build up a set frame of what they think of the other person, and just decided that that person isn't the right one for you, but hey! YOU are the one that knows when it's right. Not our parents. I've been trying to ignore their feelings, cause it really affected my relationship, and I didn't want that...Don't let it get to you.

 What would your perfect day consist of?

Stay in bed all morning, cuddling with your loved one, get up and have a BIG cup coffee, later on to spend some time with your friends at the mall/city, shopping. Tacos at home for dinner watching a good movie with some wine. That would be great, I haven't had a day like that in a long time...

 How did you meet your bf? I too have a honey who lives halfway around the world (me-Canada, him-Paris)....it's always interesting to hear love stories!

:) I meet my boyfriend online on a text base mafia game. There was a forum there, I was very active, he mailed me, it was all just harmless flirting at first, but we started to talk more and more, mailed turned into chats, not long after that we spoke on the phone every day. We got really close really fast. Then I went on a one month back packing trip and we didn't get to talk much at all, but he kept seending me love e-mails, and I sent him post cards from every city I visited, and when I got back home to Sweden we decided to meet, Jason came to Sweden to see me and be with me, left his job and everything. I'd love to hear your story too!! Mail me?

All over the place, mostly other fellow fashion blogs that I follow, but also from a lot of magazines, ELLE, CHIC. etc.

Can it ever stop snowing, this is insane! I'm tired of shoveling snow, and to be honest I think this weather brings me down a little bit, It's hard to but together a nice outfit, and it only gets harder and harder to get out of bed in the morning/during the day. It gets dark already at 3pm. *sigh* I miss you sun! However, I'm really looking forward to.....CHRISTMAS!! Less then a week left now, and then one week after that I'm......GOING TO THE US! *happy face* I can not wait to see Jason! I miss him so much. It's been about 4 months now since we last saw eachother, that's the longest we've ever been apart. Crazy isn't it.

With a little bit of lack of inspiration I have these last few days just browsed around the net and signed up for both Lookbook.nu (YAY!!) and Formspring.com. Since I'm having difficulties posting lookbook's widges here on the blog (I have no idea why, I'm copying the link but it doesn't work...anyone? help?) We Love Colors Review

It's time, time for my very first review for We love colors, a hosiery company that offers a wide selection of colors and sizes for everyone. They contacted me and asked if I'd like to do a review for them and of course! I would love to! So I happily accepted. 

I chose to try the Plus size Nylon/Lycra tights, since I basically live in tights it was a done deal. They cost 15$ it's a bit pricey for my taste, but I believe just by feeling the tights before I tried them on that these are good quality ones and that they probably will last a long time,  I'm an expert on ripping tights so we'll see :D I'll keep you updated. (Converting dollars into Swedish Krona in my head) Now when I think about it this is probably the price you're gonna have to pay for a good long lasting pair of tights. They have so many colors to choose between, 51 colors to be exact, and I love colors so this was really hard but ultimately I decided on Mocha.

I would say that the colors doesn't really match to a 100%, the tights are more mocha--->going light purple. However it's nothing wrong with it, I still absolutely adore the color!!

The fit is heavenly amazing, I went according to the size chart, I' a size C/D, and I would say the size chart is accurate, they fit perfect. What I also really like about these plus size tights are that they are high waste, cause there's nothing worse then having to "pull up" your tights cause they are slipping down your hips when your moving, it is SO uncomfortable, but these tights doesn't! They go all the way up to under my bust. Personally think that's kick ass.

If you're a plus size girl out there desperately in need of a pair of comfortable and fun hosiery's I strongly recommend you to pay We love colors a visit.

I know how hard it can be some times to find ones with the perfect fit.

A Christmas present to myself.

I've been checking this one out for a reeeeeeaaaally looooooong time. And today I ordered it, finally a good reason to buy a new cellphone, what happened was that while talking on the phone when being on the toilet, I got up, had the phone resting between my ear and shoulder, and what happens? It slips, and falls....right....down....the toilet. Don't worry, I did not poop! haha. I did the other thing...WELL! ANYWAY, awkward,  grrr....sucks! Cause I could have saved money on NOT ruining my old cell but...I've really been wanting the HTC Wildfire. A great phone for a good price, I've only heard/read great reviews about it. A Christmas present to myself. (*^_^*)

Omg, I still can't believe I dropped my cell down the toilet, it just doesn't happen. haha.

Got my "We love colors" Plus size Nylon/Lycra tights in the mail the other day. I've gotten the pleasure to do a review for them which I'm really excited about, I've always wanted to do one, however since I woke up too late today when the sun was already going down for the day I didn't get the chance to take pictures outside, the flash doesn't really do the color of the tights justice, however, I'll post the pictures I took today inside anyway later and then a few more tomorrow being outside. So stay tuned...

This Christmas Day 15

Christmas, don't you just love it? I love Christmas, the day of giving, quality time with the family, delicious foods. etc. I often put on something red on Christmas but this year I wanna wear something different, dress up to 100% this is what a wore last Christmas. Even if it's just gonna be me, mom and my brother and sister we always dress up a little bit. Which you should, it's a special day! ;)

Above are a few items I'm really loving right now and that gives me the Christmas feelings.
