Since it's a hot topic at the moment AND because I was actually featured along side other fabulous plus size-fashionistas and models at  WUNDERWEIB.DE showing of beach ready looks in Bikinis.

Old hair cut - misses!

Omg, Found this old picture from last year and...damn, I like that hair cut! You often want your hair the way it's not at the moment, if it's flat you want it curly, if it's darker you want it lighter. well, it is most of the cases for me :P and right now seeing this picture from a year ago with this cut I REALY LIKE IT!!! But I've saved my hair aaaall year and it's finally really long like  want it to be....I like the color too, my old high-lights that are colored over with brown, and not look a little copper-ish.

(I want that dress too, damn I miss all my clothes! I bet I have 3/4's of my wardrobe left at home in Sweden as well as 30 pairs of shoes...or maybe even more *sheds a tear*:P)

Forever21 had an amazing "Memorial weekend SALE" on their website this weekend, I stopped myself from shopping anything in the start of the SALE, convincing myself that I need to save it for another time, However late on Sunday from being up to 80% OFF they added another 15% OFF any sales item.....This was the right time to do some bargain shopping.;) I scored 6 tops and a pair of pants as well as a shimmery purple nail polish for a total of 50$. Score! I really love the over-size tops, the "saint" print fringe top is gonna be a nice addition to my everyday outfits, paired with shorts this summer. The pop of colors of the leo print top is gorgeous, and the cut-out open back top is really edgy and I like it, I'm usually not an "open back"-kind of girl because I don't like to show my "wings" haha, But this top is perfect because it's open just at the right spot in the middle with a black band going over the middle of the back right where the bra line is gonna be (I'm hoping) Did anyone else do some fabulous finds at the forever21 SALE?

Faded Glory Maxi dress

I'm way passed my bed time right now :) have to get up early so can't write so much more besides that I wanted to share these photos of my favorite favorite maxi dress! It's from Faded Glory, found at Walmart. I have this dress in three diffeent patterns and colors, hehe, I LOVE IT THAT MUCH!! it's 16$ something, really affordable for such a comfortable and light maxi dress. it's not too heavy or too thick, it's the perfect summer maxi dress. I originally got it in XL, but L fit better still slouchy put better, so I exchanged it for a smaller size actually...I think they run all the way up to XXL. I think!...:)

ps. LOL OMG, me and Cesilia/styleremixx.blogspot.com posted an outfit of the same dress on the same night. :D She paired the maxi dress with a pair of hot heels, go check it out! :)

Rocking rompers and playsuits

A fashion piece I am going to be wearing a lot this summer, are shorts! Every kind of shorts, denim shorts, or bicycle shorts etc. So it is only natural for me to lean towards Rompers and Play suits as a substitute for shorts every now and then, for example when you want to dress-up a little. The romper/play suits available for the plus size female often have very flattering silhouettes, patterns and nice details. I like that! Above are a few favorites from a few different places and with different prices. Personally my favorites are the ones from Forever21+, I could afford them :P and I love the prints and style! The ones from ASOS Curve sure are stylish and fancy but too expensive for me, sucks, I wish I was rich so I could go on a huuuuge shopping spree at ASOS. What a dream. *dreaming*

One negative about rompers and play suits tho, when you need to go on the toilet you have to basically undress yourself, and take the whole thing off and have the whole piece by your knees. weird haha. But they are chic and comfortable, so really it's worth it or it doesn't really matter, but just keep that in mind ;) haha!

Poison

Today I had a little melt down, I cried, ehm, but it felt good to get it out you know. I needed to let go of some emotions. And as I'm feeling like crap I'm thinking I'm to old for this shit, I'm turning 25 years old soon and here i sit by myself feeling sorry for myself basically. I don't know it's hard to explain how I feel exactly. Lets just say without giving away too much details, I feel a little lost...lost in myself. I blame myself for not being a 100% ME sometimes. I wish I could be more brave, more out-spoken and funny like I am at home in Sweden. I feel lonely even though I'm surrounded by people that love me, many of them far away but it doesn't matter. And I hate myself for feeling that way. I'm focused on the wrong things. I'm too old to care about irrelevant shit, I'm too old to feel sorry for myself.

I'm confused, lost and don't know what I'm supposed to do and how I'm supposed to behave. 

Maybe I'm just in a weird funk right now...I hope so. I need to get my spark back!

I just really miss my friends back home, and my family. My old life. Where everything is a smooth sailing. Starting over is a challenge.

I must stay strong and not feel defeated or lost. Not forget that I have my love, Jason who is my best friend as well. And he reminds me of how much he loves me everyday, I have to remember that I AM...blessed. And to be honest that is pretty much...all....I...need.

Got this really cute button down blouse from Cesilia, my very first ASOS Curve piece that I'm getting to wear. yay. It is so comfortable and flattering and of course super cute with it's flower pattern. Also highly recommend F21+'s basic knit leggings, they are often out of stock, and that is probably because they are AWESOME!!! the best essential piece, and the feel, fit and price is a done deal! A must buy! I bought two pairs lol. Thanks for reading and sorry for my pity party! Love you all!

Fashion bargains

I love shopping, but I shop smart. I don't have the finances to shop expensive designer brands, but just because you don't...doesn't mean you can't dress like it. :) We all have our own personal style, I put together these outfits because it's something that I would like to wear or something like it. (For example, I wouldn't really spend 24$ on golden bangles, hehe, but something similar and cheaper is something that I would def. go for because it looks nice with the maxi dress, it's just an example.)

I love a good T-thong sandal in the summer, not only are they clean and neat looking but also mostly affordable, and they come in so many different kinds of styles. The Maxi dress is my favorite "to-go-to" dress this summer, I tried it last summer but didn't really like it...I think mostly because I didn't find the best fit for me, I love the empire waist on maxi dresses. The perfect fit for me, no pulling or hugging...more flowy, airy and comfortable. 

Forever21+'s shorts always fit me well, and I like their price range on clothes. I have a weak heart for studds, so who can't resist a nice studded clutch bag and studded pockets on a pair of edgy denim shorts. Paired with a cool graphic tee and you're good to go. ;)

I have yet to find the perfect denim vest for the summer, I think I'm gonna buy a cheap one from walmart, or somewhere else, they go for around 12-14$ and cut the sleeves off myself. :D do a little DIY. *excited*

Sheer flowers and a creepy dude

This week went by pretty fast, it's been a really nice week! "it's greek to me" dinner out with Eunice and her friends :) the weather has been really nice, been sitting outside 3 days in a row now and enjoying it. Me and Cesilia made Margarite cupcakes the other night, SO DELICIOUS! You could really taste the tequila! 

That night had a little drama in it as well, I told Cesilia this was so gonna go in my blog! lol, but we ended up having an altercation with a really drunk man, that we later got to know is her neighbor, he was parking his car, YES! he'd been driving, so stupid I know! and he'd parked really stupid too, he had all this space in front of him to pull up a little so that we could fit behind him, we pull up behind him real close and he started to get all defensive "Why you have to come all up my ass!?"-something like that. Cesilia started talking to him and asking him to pull up a little, he was real bothered and stressed (why?) and he was wasted, and reeked alcohol. 

He'd come all up her face talking, real creepy. Asking her where she lived, and asking her name, and stuff, asking if they could become friends, lol, he didn't make any sense, and he wouldn't pull up. !? so annoying, so we were just standing there waiting for nothing when he spent the last 10 min unloading his car and talking, and later walking away towards his place  saying he'd move it later, and then they started cursing at each other because Cesilia wanted him to move it now, and omg, she's like "Jen, get in the car, get in the car!" and I don't remember what she said, but he like dropped everything he was carrying and came at us in full force yelling "what you say!? huh!? What you say!?" and we just drove off real fast, omg, he was so creepy and wasted. 

We drove around the block, and he was walking back and forth across the road waiting for us or something, and we were like fuck, hell no that we're gonna get out of the car now and get in the house when he's there. So we waited, and after a while we didn't spot him anymore, so we slowly go buy one last time, and OMG then we see him sitting in the dark on his front door steps still waiting for us!!!! and he saw us got up and started yelling again. 

We quickly drove off again, and we decided to call the cops!! Cops came, but he wasn't out there anymore, however we could safely get in the house, and they actually stayed outside and waited for another 10-15 min, i like that! and a little shaken we continued with our cupcake baking. What a night. lol. we survived!!! What an asshole, and driving drunk!? omg, unbelievable!! He really freaked us out.

I'm happy we got home safely eventually.

Blue and White H&M Plus size

Every now and then Ill sign on HM.se (the swedish HM-website. God, I miss it) and these are the latest HM plus size pieces out, as well as the other new pieces from HM there's a lot of whites and blues, am I the only one who's getting the "greek" feeling, islands and vacation...and gyros. lol. I like. But there's a mix of colorful pieces in there as well. I love the beach cover-up they have, me wants!

Anyways, Simple and clean, like the shorts! They are a good length, and the t-shirts are looking chic and sleek as well. I would totally wear this clean combo in the summer, I think it's a great city look.

Summer Braid

Love these heels from Charlotte Russe, I got them on SALE for like $11 and they are so comfortable. WOOT WOOT!! The shorts are amazing too, super comfortable, and affordable, and they came with a thin brown braided belt, so nice! Size 16, fits great.

Kreative blogger Award

Another award! Woot Woot! Thank you SO much a Ladybug's life for this Kreativ blogger award. "Kreativ" is actually Creative in Swedish and I do like to see myself as a creative person, so thank you for seeing that in me as well :)

So over to 10 new facts about me, again, this is gonna be hard because I just wrote 7 facts about me not long ago. Why does it have to be about me? lol :P typ intresse-pil i ögat...for all my Swedes reading.

TEN FACTS:

1. My favorite cooking shows are Iron Chef America, Chopped, Diners drive-ins and dives, and Restaurant impossible.

2. I've recently grown a huge interest in the show "River Monsters" on Animal Planet, it's weird because I don't like fishing and such, but it's something about an Australian accents and tale-telling that draws me to it, and of course seeing the monster fishies.

3. I weighed myself today and I've lost 5 pounds these last 3 weeks, that's about 1,6 pound a week. Cool, I haven't even exercised that much AT ALL, just managed what I eat a little. slowly and steady.

4. I'm not a big "Candy" fan.

5. My little sister is my pride and joy.

6. I have a lot of dark spots on my face, I think over 10 of them, all around my face. I don't really think about it before I take a closer look and I'm like "JESUS!" I have one on my nose, one next to my nose, one under the nose, one little by the corner of my lip, the list goes on...

7. I once had braces for like a year in High School.

8. I have pretty bad eye-sight. I need glasses almost all the time now, I really should get lenses but I'm too nervous to try them out...I'm stupid I know, but it's impossible for me to get them in my eye. Help me!

9. Tzatziki, hands down BEST sauce.

10. I grocery shop ALL NATURAL or ORGANIC foods. It's so much better for you and your health.

Maxi in the city

Just wanted to do a quick update with some photos of my outfit yesterday in the city. I love love love this dress from walmart, so cheap for such an amazing dress, the material is really light and flowy, and the patterns are really interesting and chic! This dress is like $17 and a size L fits me loose and comfortably. And it went really well with my teal colored bag, matchi matchi. Omg, this weekend has been really nice, the weather has been great, I just got back inside from tanning a little bit, building on my previous "burn" that's faded, now i look nicely sun kissed and not red, lol, love it. love a great tan!

I bought a stir-fry the other day and im finally gonna use it, I got all these mixed greens and veggies together with chicken Im gonna wook it real good and add a delicious stir-fry sauce. omg...you can tell im excited to cook!

XSRE Blingy Sandals

My favorite accessory store here in the U.S. is the XSRE store here in Jersey, love it! It's like the answere to europes "accessories"-store. It was love at first sight with these blue, blingy sandals. I had to get them no question about it, and they are so comfortable, and really affordable as well. Two thumbs up from me! :D

Paired them together with a sheer, vintage-y cardigan from F21 on SALE, of course.

Omg, time flies! Today I'm gonna make my way to the City and meet up a dear old childhood friend. My BFF and her BF. So exciting to met them up in New york city! Last time I saw them was at my house on the country side back home in Sweden, surrounded by dark forest, haha and now we're meeting up in urban and vibrant NYC. So cool! So gotta get ready, it's passed 12pm and still haven't had anything to eat OR got changed. I look like shiiiieet basically. :P
