Purple Paisley

I remembered just a few years ago I was ANTI MAXI dress and skirts. I mean I liked them on others but not on myself, and I couldn't find any Maxi dresses or skirts I felt a 100% comfortable in. They were too tight, and tugging, and showing every lump. Today I have a HUGE selection of Maxi dresses, almost more maxi dresses then short dresses, no joke! :)

I find myself lounging around the house in Maxi dresses on an everyday basis instead of a top and leggings. 

So, I saw this dress at Walmart and checked it out for the longest time but never got it because I wanted to save my money, but on my Bday when I got my Vacation Paycheck I decided it was time to get that desired dress after all :D I love the purple and the blue together and the paisley pattern is something I adore! And the fit is so comfortable!

Also had purple colored nails and toe nails so, it was a perfect match :P also together with the purple shade "Up the Amp" from MAC lipsticks.

Went to a Brooklyn flea market today with Eunice and her friend Jackie, it was so HOOOT outside! It was 107 Degrees at one point and our feet were burning. Ha-ha. :D But the flea market was nice, a little too expensive for my taste and I saw a lot of accessories that I can make myself instead of buy there for like 25 bucks :P But I did score a few chic and affordable pieces, all accessories :) rings, bracelet and a pair earrings, adore my little haul. :D

Beach tomorrow, SO EXCITED! Going to take my "two piece bikini" shots for the BFSChallenge.

I'm really stepping out of my comfort zone here because I've been hugely doubting that anyone would want buy my accessories, but you guys (lovely followers and friends) have really supported me and pushed me towards doing this, and I'm so thankful for that. Because it has made me believe in myself more.

There's only one of each item available. There's more information about the items on the site. The prices vary from 6$ to 12$ and are based on material costs, labor time and weight. Shipping and handling are included in the price and you make your payment through Paypal when you "check out". 

This is like an experiment round, to see how it goes. :) I'm excited.

BFSC wear something sleeveless

So with checking "wear something sleeveless" OFF the BFSC list I have in total checked 5 "must wears" off the list and have 5 more outfits to go and about another month to complete it so I'm good shape ;)

So being a plus size girl fat arms has been in the passed something I haven't liked showing off. I have blazin' hot summers to thank for getting out of my comfort zone. haha. You just can't wear sleeves on a hot summer day, you just cant! If you do, stop! you know it's too hot so let those arms breath and get some air, and a tan :P

I have fat arms and the jiggles, like mayor! It's like "HELLOOO!!!" *waves arm frantically* jiggly jiggly hey! it's not gonna stop me from wearing tops that are sleeveless ;)

Can't wait for the weekend :D the weather here is gonna be BEAUTIFUL, and I'm def. going to the beach! YAY!

These jeans are from Forever21 Plus size and cost around 13$ something, I distressed them and added studs above the pockets, but I didn't like how the distress turned out, not completely, because the jeans are not a 100% cotton it just ended up looking a little weird SO! I dip dyed them after I took these pictures, and not they look so much better! :D Can't wait to show you guys, it gradually goes from dark blue to blue to very light, grey/white-ish at the end wish makes the distress look much much better :) Love playing with bleach, just be careful though! Read the warnings.

The City that never sleeps

So yesterday I met up with my dear new friend Kelly B of MASQUE mag for dinner at Hotel Roger in NYC. It was a Drink and Menu tasting which I've never ever been to before so it was so nice of her to invite me as her plus one :) *feeling special* The foods and drinks were delicious, esp. the friend chicken YUM!

After dinner we just HAD to take outfit pictures of course ;), and what better place to do it at night then at Time Square. I must admit I've gotten very used to Time Square, I've been her so many times now that to me it isn't a big deal anymore, haha! Which also when I think about it makes me feel fortunate to have been able to visit this huge tourist spot so many times, plus living close to NYC, which I'm still trying to get used to. Love it!

but man oh man is Time Square super crowded at this summer time, I feel more of a local complaining and grunting trying to zig zag by people to get to where I need. So frustrating HAHA!

I made these Bracelets and rings!

This is an outfit post from the other week, I totally forgot about it. I wanted to post it to show off some of my DIY bracelets and rings ;) As you know I've recently gotten all crafty. Loving it! 

I made everything myself, even the rings. 

Some people have been asking if I'm planing on selling some of the accessories I've made and I'm seriously thinking about it, Why not? Would you be interested in buying?

First I thought WHO would want to buy MY bracelets? haha, but...there might be a few of you kindhearted people out there that would want to I guess :) I would be really grateful that's for sure, since I'm currently not working, not because I don't want too but because I can't at the moment. 

So your small donation in buying one of my bracelets would really help out. :)

BFSC Weekly Summary 3

Phuu! :) Finally done putting together Week 3's summary of the Big Fat Summer Challenge. 

I'm loving it, everybody looks amazing and are WOKRIN' it! ;) Keep up the good work girl!

Put a RING on it!

Attending Jason's best friend Dave's sisters wedding reception last night was really really nice! Celebrating the love and commitment together with their family and friends, with good food, drinks and partying. The also had the cutest video of them two, showing pictures from their childhood up until they met and pictures together through out all those years before they got married. I really enjoyed watching it and it made me think about mine and Jason's relationship and our journey together to this date. I did not think I would be married at 25 :D it's crazy. But I'm really happy about it!

I still have to stop myself from referring Jason as my Boyfriend and say Husband instead which feels really weird and I haven't gotten a 100% used to it, and being referred as "Jason's wife" is pretty cool, I feel so old tho. Like I'm a WIFE. like...wife. like...common. haha!

I'll get used to it ;) we've only been married for 2 months, so we're still newly weds.

To save money we opted for a simple and small ceremony, and a simple wedding band that was actually gifted to us (forever grateful for that) with the plans to get a fancy ring later and have a big Wedding in the future when we have more money and time. 

But honest to god, I don't need it. I don't need a big wedding, I don't need an expensive ring. Our wedding day even tho it was quick, simple and nothing flashy it was meaningful and forever memorable!
However there's affordable options out there or a gorgeous ring that still can hold the equal amount of value in love and meaning. 

I've been spending hours at My Jewelry Box looking at the most cutest rings, I'm a total "ring"-accessory girl so...rings is my thing. And they have so many pretty affordable rings that I think I'm gonna show...hrr....My husband. ;) *wink* so he can add some "bling bling" next to my wedding band. haha. Like this pretty White and Black diamond heart "promise ring" in sterling silver or this Diamond eternity ring in sterling silver! I adore stack-able rings so I'm really looking for something thin and simple yet eye-catching, without breaking my Husbands bank account haha! Those two rings are both less then a $100. 

Our 4 year anniversary being together is actually in August so maybe I can ask real nice for a "blingy" anniversary ring (hehe) like this one! 

omg, update. I just asked and he was like Duh you can't have two anniversaries. hahaha! Why not? :P one wedding anniversary and one "when we became a couple"-anniversary. No? :P
