Our second day in NYC

Hey All!
Just wanted to go ahead and post the second day part of my sister and mine's day in NYC, a much brighter and sunny day! It was wonderful and perfect!
We had to go back to Time Square, it just looks so much more beautiful during a bright and clear day, just look at the difference between the two days, like night and day :P
It was packed too, jesus, SO MUCH PEOPLE! GAH! It was beyond crazy, we visited Rockerfella Center as well, forget about it, that place was jammed! Jammed pack! We couldn't move, we were trapped, and we just wanted to get the hell out of there after the "light show" I was freaking out, we couldn't get out, the whole street was packed and it was like no one was moving.
So this day was the day before Christmas eve so I guess we had it coming ;)
Lots of people in the city that day.

Went up the tower of "Top of the rock" my first time as well as my sisters, it was AMAZING! It cost 25$ which I thought wasn't bad at all, and the view was gorgeous! I highly recommend going up the Top of the Rock instead of the empire state building, You can get  beautiful pictures of up town AND down town, including the empire state building itself. Can't believe we were THAT high up! Scary thought but it was totally worth it! We were lucky too, we beat the crowd and line and the whole process went by smoothly and we went around 3.30PM on a Sunday.

Our first day in NYC

Hey lovelies!

So sorry I've been away for a while, now I am back and I'm ready to catch up, for real! So I'm going to start by sharing my sisters first day in New York City, aka the big apple aka the city that never sleeps aka NYC! Aka....:P As you can see, not such a bright one! lol.

We got hit by heavy clouds and rain that day which sucked big time, we both felt like wet disgusting dogs trying to look pretty taking tourist photos on time square, not a success. But whatever it was cool to see it for the first time. We did more shopping than sightseeing that day, we did Forever21 on time square of course and walked down to 36th street and 5th ave and checked out some places there.

Wrapped the day off with dinner at RED LOBSTER! looooove! :)

Me and my little sister are so close, best friends for real! I can not explain how happy I am that I have her here with me, movie nights, cozy dinners at home, shopping, intern jokes and foolishness, cuddles. I don't want her to leave!!!

That's why I've taken every minute of my time to just hang out with her when Im not working and haven't much time left to update the blog, but it's been too long now so, I've gotta catch up. :)

Sisters Reunited!

 Hey Lovelies!

So as some of you know my little sister is here, my best friend, my poop, my edwardo.

I couldn't be more excited about the new and fun adventures that we will have together in Jersey and NYC. :) I just nailed my NJ license, long over due, so now I'm finally behind the wheel again, thank you jesus! I haven't driven since I came here basically, not a lot. And I used to drive every single day. SO YAY! I got my NJ drivers license.

Tomorrow we're going to NYC so more pictures on that later. ;)

Black & Gold

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to make a quick update, again I've bee falling behind with my outfit posts, but there's a good reason this time, MY LITTLE SISTER IS HERE!!

I've been so excited for her arrival and prepared a cute little welcome package, cleaned, set up her room...you know, Big sister things, to make sure that she feels comfortable. Travelling all the way from Sweden BY HERSELF for the first time, I'm happy and proud.

We're having so much fun already, it's like we never were apart.

She's my best friend.

 

I snapped these outfit photos last weekend going out for dinner with my Co-worker and...now good friend Autumn :) Cheesecake factory....yum!

Decided to go all black but to add golden accessories, black and gold can never go wrong! I love that combo, it just feels luxurious. Feel me? :)

Just scored this bright blue knit top from Ann Taylor, love blue now! ;) Especially this color. Decided to dress this casual look up with a statement necklace, I love the combo between casual/relax wear and chunky, blingy BIB necklaces. Feel me?

Better late than never....

I've been so out of it lately, I'm so sorry! I should have posted this pictures a long time ago, omg, these lovely shots are from when me and Shay met up a couple of weeks ago, I know...madness. But Hey, better late that never ;) really wanted to share these pictures so here we go...

Shay from a Thick girls closet was rocking a bright skirt and matching leo pattered wedges (loves!) and scarf, so chic! As always we had tons of fun that day, cant wait to see you girl again soon!

However my camera acted up and majority of all the pictures came out super blurry so this is only a small collection of all the picsies that we took ;) Doesn't she look adorable!...that smile...Mm!! :)

Anyway, after lunch we check out the new opened TORRID store at the Bergen town square, they moved from Garden State plaza where I work to there *tear* I will miss that store, and I loved that it was close by to where I work so I could always swing by real quick. However the new store is awesome too, bright, open, more space. :) Snapped a few pictures in there too.

H&M Spring 2013 Lookbook

It is no news that I am a big fan of H&M, as a Swede I am proud of everything H&M has accomplished and I just had to share this post with you all, Their Spring Lookbook for 2013 looks amazing, don't you think? Enjoy.

H&M embarked on a venture to conquer the hearts and closets of fashionistas and it seems that the Swedish retailer is getting closer and closer to its goal as its designs pack a high dose of appeal that is difficult to resist. Proof of this is the H&M spring 2013 lookbook which took a strong and sexy approach to style though baroque, western and Mongolian-inspired elements. 

It's not breaking news that fast fashion brands now play with various trends, styles, cuts and textures as variety is key to maintaining an ever fresh look and this lookbook shows just how fabulous this fashion diversity can be. Now, we've been seeing a lot of leather, heavy prints and stylish embellishments lately and these style essentials are definitely not missing from the H&M spring 2013 lookbook.

Leather jackets, stylish studded vests and skinny fit jeans bring the rock-chic attitude to the collection while the baroque print dresses and blouses, sexy shirts and shorts take the lead on the upcoming season's main fashion trends. On a totally opposite side stand the Western-inspired elements with a strong boho casual vibe that shows H&M didn't overlook the comfort factor this upcoming season.

 

However, the pieces that stand out by far from the collection are the red tassel skirt featuring an embellished waistband and the artisan patchwork jacket that has a certain retro appeal that cannot be ignored. No doubt this collection will connect with the fashion pack the way H&M's previous ones have.

Long over due....

Hi you guys! :D

This post is long over due, so sorry. This is what I wore LAST WEEK, ay ay ay!

I scored this super cute knit poncho from Ann Taylor on SALE, when they are running awesome additional discounts on top of the sales prices I can not stay away from possibly making a huge steal.

So some things have been going down this week, and tomorrow might be the day that change things around in my life a bit, well not a bit...kind of a lot. For the better of course. Added pressure? Oh yes!

Am I ready for the challenge? OF COURSE! ;)

I'll let you all know tomorrow what's it about and how it went I don't want to jinx it too much.

You know when something sounds too good to be true? That's what's happening to me right now, it's like...This is happening to me? to me?! Why me?! I should give myself some more credd, I'm really bad at that...
